Honiton Swift Project

We are working with local swift experts and the RSPB to increase nesting sites for this iconic Summer visitor. Swifts are now on the RED list. (endanger of extinction) Please contact us if you would like to volunteer a local site for a nest boxes. We will be doing the survey work May - August this year. The Honiton Scouts have built six boxes for their new roof and will be in place for this season.

Repair Cafes are free meeting places, they are all about repairing things; clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, IT, bicycles, toys

Our expert repairers are eager to help you bring back to life your possessions, to save them from landfill, to save you money and help save the planet by reducing carbon emissions.

Our ethos is to recycle, reuse and repair rather than refuse household items. The Repair Shop we are not. We aim to repair 60-70% of what you bring us. You are welcome to have a cuppa and chat while you wait
